For over 23 years, I’ve worked in tribal behavioral health as a clinical psychologist, supporting children, parents, and entire communities in healing historical and intergenerational trauma. The work is sacred to me.

It’s also demanding.

Back-to-back therapy sessions. Insurance structures. Long commutes to rural communities. The inherent limitations of the Western medical model.

Over time, I began to feel that while the work was meaningful, the container was not sustainable.

At the same time, I’m raising two beautiful boys. Caring for my home, my gardens, my animals. Living a life that values presence and connection. I didn’t want to sacrifice that rhythm.

But I also knew the impact I wanted to create could not stay confined to clinic walls.

My dream, as it has been unfolding, is to help parents become conscious cycle breakers… to support deeper parent-child connection and interrupt the transmission of generational trauma at a broader scale.

I wanted to extend my work beyond diagnosis codes and insurance billing, while maintaining integrity and ethical care.

Before joining SOMA, my biggest hesitation was time…

My children will always come first. I was cautious about committing to anything that might compromise my presence with them.

I was also entering completely unfamiliar territory. I knew nothing about social media business, funnels, copy, or digital strategy. As a licensed psychologist, I had real questions about navigating public platforms ethically and legally.

What I found inside SOMA was a group of thoughtful supportive women, including others who were navigating a similar situation to me. The structure offered flexibility, with sessions available on demand and support accessible even when life required me elsewhere. That alignment mattered deeply.

What shifted most for me was clarity.

After decades in the field, I hadn’t fully recognized how ready I was to expand this work. SOMA helped me refine my niche into something tangible and focused.

I can now clearly articulate the specific offering I’m bringing forward to support families in healing generational patterns.

Since joining, I launched a brand-new Instagram account with a depth-focused niche.

I publish six times per week, started a YouTube channel, and have developed confidence analyzing data and speaking on camera.

Prior to SOMA, I didn’t know what a funnel or copy meant…

Now I’m preparing to launch my first small offer within the next 60 days, while thoughtfully planning a gradual transition from clinical contracts.

More than anything, SOMA has deepened my trust in my capacity and in the unfolding of this work.

I’ve learned to come back to a place of healthy surrender, trusting the process rather than spending energy chasing an algorithm or hardening around a specific outcome.

SOMA is for women who are ready to step forward.

There is structure to support you, but it does not override your leadership. This space assumes your capacity and invites you to access your own creativity and trust.

The past six months have been a meaningful expansion, professionally and personally,  as I extend my work beyond the clinic and into a wider community.

Forever grateful.

Before SOMA, my days revolved around therapy clients, and while I loved it, a deeper calling was growing inside.

I value my clinical education and ethical foundation so much…

But in the traditional structure of therapy, I felt I wasn’t able to bring all of myself, my full gifts, my life experience, the deeper layers of wisdom I carry.

And when I looked at how to create more abundance?

The only path I could see was filling my schedule to the brim with more sessions… until there was no room left for me, my kids, my husband.

I wanted to create high-touch transformational containers, soul-led retreats, psychedelic-informed work where deep shifts could happen.

I wanted to teach, to share my medicine publicly, to create a business that allowed deeper impact and real freedom.

But even thinking about what it would take to build that brought a wave of overwhelm.

Tech. Marketing. Content creation. Being visible.

It felt like stepping into an entirely different world… one I wasn’t sure I had the capacity, time, or nervous system for.

As a mom of three, I refused to stretch myself so thin that my family paid the price, or to step into some performative “boss babe” version that felt fake and exhausting.

When I came across the SOMA Mastermind page, something in me lit up. An intuitive hit.

The words felt like they were written for my exact moment.

Especially the part about somatic work around visibility, feeling safe to be seen, and bringing gentle authority to my voice.

I knew that was a big missing piece.

Still, I was hesitant to join.

What if this meant pressure to perform, to move faster than my rhythm allowed?

What if I couldn’t keep up and let the group down?

What if claiming this level of visibility meant I’d be judged, or that I didn’t really deserve it?

But then I had the call with Shay.

My whole body exhaled.

No push. No posturing. I could feel her authenticity and availability. But most of all I could feel she was invested in me as a person.

Her gentle yet powerful way of leading. The way she has created real impact and abundance without losing her humanity… It felt like permission.

She showed me it could be done my way.
 

Since joining SOMA…

I no longer question whether this entrepreneur path is really for me. I know it is.

Being visible doesn’t send me into panic or hiding anymore.

There’s a deep inner knowing now. My medicine is needed in the world, and I’m meant to bring it.

I’ve moved from “working toward” leadership to simply being a leader.

I trust my experience, my integrity, and my voice.

And that inner shift has helped me grow my business…

• I was invited to speak on stage alongside multiple 7-figure founders,  and for the first time, it felt exciting, not terrifying.
  
• I now walk into high-level entrepreneurial rooms with quiet confidence and authority.
  
• I’m actively planning my June retreat, with women already expressing genuine interest and excitement.
  
• At home, my energy has shifted too… clearer boundaries, no longer always last on the list. I center myself. I feel worthy of what I want.
  
• The right opportunities, people, and synchronicities keep arriving. Reinforcing my faith in myself, my work, and the path I’m building.
